Giving Tuesday and the Massachusetts Albanian Community
As many of you may know, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been designated as Giving Tuesday, and this year it happens to fall on the Albanian Independence Day of November 28th.
Giving Tuesday is a major online and global charitable campaign to support not-for-profit organizations that do good — like MAASBESA!!!
In that spirit, MAASBESA is asking you to consider donating to our efforts to help people in need this holiday season with a donation.
Over the past decade we have helped many local Albanians with medical treatment, housing problems, funeral expenses, and other urgent financial needs.
You can make a one time donation or a recurring donation, and we encourage you to consider joining the One Hundred Albanians One Heart Initiative which consists of people donating $10 per month to help people in need.
This year we are honoring Paul Pando who passed away this past summer and helped dozens of Albanians over the past 25 years in countless ways. Many people in the local Albanian Community knew Paul quite well, and respected his quiet and tireless effortless to help people without fanfare.
We ask that you consider a donation in Paul’s name if you knew him, and if you did not know him we hope that his spirit moves you to contribute. We can only help to serve others with your support. As it says on our new web-site home page — Change Their World…. Change Yours…..This Changes Everything.

Giving Tuesday dhe komuniteti shqiptar ne Masacusets
Sic shume prej jush mund ta dine, e marta pas Festes se Falenderimeve eshte caktuar si Giving Tuesday, dhe kete vit kjo dite perkon me Festen Kombetare shqiptare ne 28 nentor.
Giving Tuesday eshte nje fushate bamiresie globale dhe nepermjet internetit per te mbeshtetur organizata jo fitimprurese qe zhvillojne aktivitete ne te mire te komunitetit – sic eshte dhe MAASBESA!!!
Ne kete fryme, MAASBESA kerkon prej jush qe te konsideroni te beni nje dhurate sado te vogel per te mbeshtetur perpjekjet tona per te ndihmuar njerezit ne nevoje ne kete sezon festash.
Gjate dekades se fundit ne kemi ndihmuar shume shqiptare te komunitetit me trajtime mjekesore, probleme strehimi, shpenzime funerale dhe nevoja te tjera urgjente financiare.
Ju mund te beni nje dhurate te vetme, ose nje dhurate perseritese here pas here, dhe ne ju inkurajojme t’I bashkoheni nismes “Njeqind Shqiptare, Nje Zemer” e cila perbehet nga njerez qe dhuroje 10 USD ne muaj per te ndihmuar njerez ne nevoje.
Kete vit ne nderojme Paul (Pol) Pando, i cili u largua nga kjo jete gjate veres. Gjate 25 viteve te shkuara, Poli ndihmoi shume shqiptare me menyra te ndryshme. Shume njerez te komunitetit shqiptar e njihnin Polin shume mire dhe respektonin perpjekjet e tij te palodhshme per te ndihmuar njerezit pa shume fanfare.
Ju kerkojme qe te konsideroni nje dhurate ne emer te Polit nese e keni njohur, dhe nese nuk e njihnit, shpresojme qe shpirti i tij t’ju emocionoje sadopak per te kontribuar. Ne mund te ndihmojme te tjeret vetem nepermjet ndihmes suaj. Ashtu sic shkruhet edhe ne faqen tone te re te internetit, Ndryshoni jeten e tyre — Ndryshoni tuajen — Kjo ndryshon gjithcka.
