Please join us for an exciting evening that will start with the introduction of the award winning Boston newspapermen and author, Peter Lucas and his new novel "Balkan Caesar", the compelling fact based story of the American soldiers of the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) who fought the Nazis behind enemy lines in World War II Albania. And the well known Hollywood director, Stan Dragoti, who has started working to turn "Balkan Caesar" into a movie.
Evening to be followed by a spring dance party with music and dancing.
The author and director will be available to sign the book and discuss their new project.

About Peter Lucas
Peter Lucas is an award-winning veteran Boston newspaperman. During his career, Lucas’ assignments have taken him across the country and around the world, covering stories from Boston politics and national campaigns to the war in Vietnam, the troubles in Northern Ireland, Cuba, Central America, and the fall of communism in Albania and the Balkans. He covered the riots at the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago, interviewed Fidel Castro in Havana, and was on hand for NATO’s bombing of Serbia in 1999. He has worked as a political reporter and columnist for the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald and has written for the Boston Phoenix. Lucas is Boston born and bred and is a graduate of Boston University. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany.
Balkan Caesar is his fifth book and first novel. Lucas and his wife live in Westford, Massachusetts.

About Stan Dragoti
Stan Dragoti is the recipient of every top award in television advertising, including a special Tony Award and a Golden Apple for the “I Love New York” campaign. He has has directed and produced over 200 commercials for television. In recognition, the Museum of Modern Art has included his commercial reel in its permanent collection.
Stan has been a member of the Board of Directors of Wells Rich Greene, as well as the Vice President and head of the Art Department. Previously, he held titles of Associate Creative Director at Young & Rubicam and Art Director/Supervisor with Compton Advertising. He started his television advertising career at Young & Rubicam with the award-winning Eastern Airlines campaign “We Want Everyone to Fly,” he was hired by Mary Wells in 1968 and teamed with Charlie Moss on the newly acquired American Motors account. Their work for AMC won first prize in virtually every major award competition and was featured in an exclusive story in Life magazine.
From there, the two went on to create award-winning campaigns for TWA, Proctor & Gamble, Midas and the New York State Department of Economic Development.
Stan Dragoti made his break into filmmaking with “Dirty Little Billy,” starring Michael J. Pollard. His next two films, “Love at First Bite,” the highly stylized comedy hit which starred George Hamilton, and “Mr. Mom,” starring Michael Keaton, were both megahits. His following picture, the French classic “The Man with One Red Shoe” starred Tom Hanks. His last film was “Necessary Roughness” (1991), a football comedy shot in Texas and released by Paramount Pictures.
Stan returned to advertising full-time to form Moss/Dragoti in 1995. Moss/Dragoti was later acquired by Omnicom, the world’s largest advertising conglomerate.
