Grigor'ev, executive director, Project on Ethnic Relations Shpetim Gashi, senior program officer, Project on Ethnic Relations On Monday, March 1, at 4:15 pm, the Kokkalis Program will host a lecture by Alex N. Grigor’ev and Shpetim Gashi of the Project on Ethnic Relations. The event is open to the public and no RSVP is required.
The Project on Ethnic Relations (PER), based in Princeton , NJ , is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to the peaceful resolution of ethnic conflicts in Central and Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union. Educated in history and international relations and an expert on Balkan politics and ethnic relations, Grigor’ev, among his PER duties, moderates discussions between Albanian and Serb leaders in Kosovo, Montenegro’s minority leaders and the Montenegrin government, Albanian leaders from south Serbia and the Serbian government, and between Macedonia’s ethnic Macedonian and Albanian party leaders. At PER, Shpetim Gashi is in charge of developing and implementing programs on democratic governance and interethnic relations in Southeast Europe .
