On March 1, over 150 people gathered in the main concert hall of Boston University for a concert by soprano Lindita Mezini Tole, sopranoand pianist Ida Tili Trebicka.
A number of students, professionals, and families from Massachusetts and elsewhere took part.
The concert was organized by the Boston University Albanian Club and the Massachusetts Albanian American Society as a benefit concert for the Albanian Language and Heritage School.
Both of these internationally acclaimed artists performed a number of pieces from both Albanian and other composers to an appreciative audience -- reinforcing the idea that art knows no borders.
