The next Board Meeting of MAAS/BESA wil be held at 7pm on Tuesday May 20th at Vlora Restaurant

All are welcome to come, so please do, since we are always looking for new blood to get involved in the community.

The meeting will be at Vlora since it is not possible to reserve a room at the Boston Public Library at this late date.

Below is a draft agenda:

1) Albanian School (finances, summer plans, school picnic, museum trips, expansion in fall??)

2) Assistance Fund/Gashi Kids (finances, future visits and logistics)

3) Gerdec Fundraiser Issues for Sunday May 25th (event issues and promotion, what to do with money raised)

4) Business Sponsors (especially follow-up phone calls on Gerdec letter)

5) Getting New Members (we need more for sure since not so many have paid $50 membership fee)

6) Web-Site Issues (anything to do over summer)

7) Summer Events (???)

8) Fall Events (concerts, movies, soccer, art, welcome back from summer event, Harvard etc...)

9) Overseas Links (universities, ngos, etc...)
